Moving to Savannah in 2005, after finishing a degree at Winthrop University, I made Savannah home. My first job was in Commercial Construction Management, this job was supposed to be a career after I finished my Masters in Historic Preservation from SCAD in 2007. Unfortunately, the 2009 recession ended those dreams and brief career in property management for a few years led to my real estate license in 2012.
Growing up in Hartsville, SC where my father was in the construction industry, I loved to visit the historic homes with him and watch them be restored. My parents were constantly working on a project at home, either a kitchen was gutted or a bathroom. They were the original “flippers” before it was a thing. I completed my first flip in 2013. Consequently, I has always loved having the ability to walk into a house for sale with my buyers and help them envision what can be done.
After 6 years as the top agent at a large firm in Savannah, I decided it was time to share the knowledge I had learned with other agents. I completed my broker’s license in 2020. While mentoring several agents through my career and finding that role very fulfilling I decided it was time to start my own brand. Eventually, I teamed up with my long time friend and colleague, Jonathan Haley and my husband and fellow Realtor, Patrick Bergen to create Salt Marsh Realty
I play competitive tennis in the Savannah Tennis League, charity golf tournaments for various local non profits, and I love cheering on my Clemson Tigers. I am a past board member of the Savannah Tree foundation. In 2020 I won runner up in the Woman of the Year campaign for Leukemia Lymphoma Society and was named one of Savannah Business Journals 40 under 40 at just 25 years old.
